math test today

February 20, 2006 from blogtastic MATH SERIES By jesarchives XY PLANE AND ORBIT SPACE February 20, 2006 @ 8:15 am · Filed under Uncategorized · The orbit space We now have a variety,[ OF TRAVEL OPTIONS . FIRST OF ALL CHECK ON THE POSTAL RATES , THEM AFTER THAT CHECK WITH THE MONEY CHANGERS .] the xy-plane, which is divided into orbits such as {(a,b),(b,a)}. We shall, by example, show that there exists another plane, the st-plane, which has points that are in a one-to-one correspondence with the orbits in the xy-plane. This means that every point of the st-plane corresponds to an orbit in the xy-plane. This st-plane is called an orbit space. It can be shown that the relationship between the xy-coordinates and st-coordinates is s = x + y and t = xy. FIND THE TRAIN STATION IN THIS IMAGE . . . . . .  . . . . . . . X MARKS THE SPOT . . . . . Figure 1: Each point in the st-plane corresponds to an orbit in the xy-plane. We first pick a point in the st-plane and then calculate the corresponding points in the xy-plane. We than prove that the two points are in the same orbit. Remember that s = x + y and t = xy. Substituting y = t/x into s = x + y gives s = x + t/x which is the same as x2 - xs + t = 0. 17. artbooks and art and artists so this is for Jack Micheline horse lover and storyteller but about Jack Micheline poet and writer and painter of the beat generation he did like to talk about horse and poets and food . i met him long ago at dick's cafe in san francisco . on the corner of sanchez and 16th . rick london introduced me to him . rick is the author of ' the bones in the road ' and was the weekend bartender at dick's it was there that i met most of the arists that i knew from san francisco , before i found out about mail art . rick introduced me to s. clay wilson and dave geiser and many others at the bar and at other places . so jack was part of this crowd , at least when he was around . we would sit and talk about things i knew not much about and they knew a lot so i would listen or b.s. . from all of this came my interest in art . the stories and the studies and the beer and smoke . so i bought books and drawings and chap books and other things from jack over a period of years in the early 80's . and we would talk and drink till late at night or early in the morning after dicks closed and we wandered up the block to 232 sanchez st . san francisco . durning all of this time i started a series of books that i would have all of these different artists do some work in as we sat and talked and drank and smoked and passed the day and night . and after many years of doing this in many different places i have put together a library . all kinds of books from my travels and the artists that i met , and bookks on asia and textiles and more .
